Asiful Hoque

A Mechanical Engineer and SREDA Certified Energy Manager, currently serving as Energy & Carbon Lead at Engineering Resource International (ERI) Ltd. He specializes in industrial energy efficiency, decarbonization, GHG assessment, and resource efficiency within the textile and apparel sector.

With experience across 50+ textile factories, he leads energy and carbon assessments, identifies efficiency opportunities, and develops practical decarbonization roadmaps. His expertise includes Scope 1, 2 & 3 GHG assessment, SBTi-aligned initiatives, and supply-chain decarbonization.

He has contributed to programmes involving Inditex, BESTSELLER, UNIQLO, Primark, and Solidaridad, and currently leads the Inditex Supply Chain Decarbonization programme covering 30+ factories. He holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering and is pursuing his M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET).
